TOXIC JEALOUSY IN A RELATIONSHIP?

Generally in relationships, jealousy is seen and believed to be an indication of love, expressing ownership over a beloved one, a protective emotion to express that a partner is very much beloved so much that they're not willingly shared with others.

In fact, for many, if jealousy is not expressed by the other, when prospective competition is sighted best, then it means that there isn't love present. However, jealousy can become a problem, even dangerous when the recipient is constantly monitored, questioned, suspected of infidelity and harassed. Or the emotion becomes so strong that sanity becomes questionable and murderous. We're looking at a real life conversation centering on this. So tonight, we're going to be talking about the pros and cons of jealousy, how to deal with jealousy and what to do when it becomes toxic. Join us, contribute, like, subscribe, share and invite your friends as we discuss this , this Tuesday night on The MungalowCroonings With Abi and Friends at 8pm GMT. Views are welcome as always. SEX TAPES: WHY AND HOW?

On tonight's episode on Mungalow Croonings with Abi and Friends, we shall be discussing the idea of couples making sextapes of their private encounters between the sheets. Why do people have the desire to capture these encounters on film?

What is more prevalent are the frequent releases of some of these alleged sextapes within the ranks of celebrities. This exposure on both ends is becoming worrisome. We think it's time for us to start having these conversations.

SHOULD GIRLFRIENDS DO DOMESTIC CHORES?

On tonight's MungalowCroonings With Abi and Friends, we're discussing if Girlfriends Should Do Domestic Chores?

This is based off a recent conversation between lovers over expectations of domestication. This conversation is an echo of behaviours in relationships as old as time. Women are told from little girls how to be wives and mothers and there's a constant expectation of domesticity from her. Yet, it is rare to find men who are trained to be domestic in the same way women are trained. Who should care for a person's home when they're in a relationship?

NOLLYWOOD VS HOLLYWOOD: The Journey So far Pt. 2

Film is an avenue where people’s stories, experiences and culture are shared with an audience. It incorporates both drama and music, sometimes encouraging us to use other senses not associated with audio visuals. Hollywood for a long time, told us stories not just of the Americas, but also of our own culture. They found ingenious ways to tell stories which unfortunately weren’t usually true of ourselves – but as they say, “only the victor writes history”. Thankfully, Nollywood has now started to create a balance using our own experiences, culture and music to tell our stories more accurately to the world. Although, unfortunately, our stories are still tinged with influences from the West and we struggle to get away from it. Tonight’s discussion is looking at how far Nollywood has come, what needs to be done to take us further and what influences we need to shed. This is not an indictment on the hard work that so many talented movie makers are doing in Nollywood. It is actually an appreciation, using a critical eye for the growth and development of the industry.
